A Bugyal comes from 3-4 km from Madhymaheshwar Temple. There is a small temple called the old Madhyeshwar. Bugyal is spread around this temple for a very long distance.
Himalaya is beautifully decorated with the beauty of this delightful place surrounded by hills.
Here is the magnificence of Chaukhamba Mountain of Himalayas. Along with Chaukhamba, there is also Darshan of Mandani Mountain, Kedarnath (Himalaya category) etc.
Many types of flowers, herbs are found in this Bugyal.
This place has a specialty, rain water ponds are formed in front of the temple, and when the weather remains clean, the Golden Mirror of Chaukhamba Mountain (Himalaya range) in the pond attracts the mind.
Here the snow falls for more time in a year.

बुढ़ा मध्यमहेश्वर

मध्यमहेश्वर मंदिर से 3-4 किमी० ऊपर एक बुग्याल आता है। जहाँ पर एक छोटा सा मंदिर है जिसे बूढ़ा मध्यमहेश्वर कहा जाता है। इस मंदिर चारों ओर बहुत लंबी दूरी तक बुग्याल फैले हैं।
हिमालय पहाड़ो से घिरे इस रमणीय स्थान की खूबसूरती देखते ही बनती है।
यहाँ से हिमालय के चौखम्बा पर्वत का भव्यदर्शन होता है। चौखम्बा के साथ साथ मन्दानी पर्वत, केदारनाथ(हिमालय श्रेणी)आदि के दर्शन भी होते है।
इस बुग्याल में कई प्रकार के फूल,जड़ीबूटियां पाई जाती हैं।
इस स्थान की एक विशेषता है,यहाँ पर मंदिर के सामने बरसाती तालाब बन जाते हैं और जब मौसम साफ रहता है तो तालाब में चौखम्बा पर्वत (हिमालय श्रेणी)का स्वर्णिम प्रतिबिम्ब मन को मोह लेता है।
यहाँ सालभर में ज्यादा समय बर्फ गिरती है।
अगर कोई मध्यमहेश्वर की यात्रा पर आता है और बुढ़ा मध्यमहेश्वर ना आये तो यात्रा करने का उद्देश्य पूरा नहीं होता है।

How to become the second Kedar in Panch Kedar, Madhymaheshwar Ji

Madhymaheshwar is one of Lord Shiva's Panch kedar temples. Among the Panch kedars, various parts of Lord Shiva are worshiped. According to Shiva Puraan, after the Mahabharata war, the Pandavas were distressed by the killing of Guru, murder of the tribe, murder of their brothers.
To know the remedy for its atonement, they went to Shri Krishna, but even when Pandava did not give up on his persuasion, Sri Krishna asked him to go to Vedvyavs ji.
 Vedvyas asked him to go to the Kailash area and perform the penance of Lord Shiva and give him a way to get rid of his sin. During a visit to Himalayas for a long time, when he came to a place and praised Lord Shiva for a few days, he looked a little further on a giant bull.
 It is believed that Lord Shiva himself had appeared there in the form of bulls to test him, but he was angry with Pandu, who was responsible for the killing of the tribe and did not want to see him. But Pandavas had recognized them and followed them. At one time it came that the bull should have tried to increase its speed but Bhima ran and started following the bull. Seeing this, Lord Shiva bulls wanted to hide themselves in the earth, as soon as the farthest part of the bull fell into the earth, Bhima caught the bull's tail with his own hands. This back part exists as Kedarnath.
 It is said that the front part of the bull comes from the land in the remote Himalayan region which was in Nepal, which was worshiped by the famous Pashupati Nath. 
The remaining part of the bull, ie arms in the Tungnath, Navel or central part in Madhameshwar, in the mouth Rudranath (remaining in Pashupati Nath) and Jata(hair) in Kalpeshwar.
In this way, the second Kedar from the Panch Kedar was Lord Madhyeshwar.

पंच केदारों में द्वितीय केदार कैसे बने मध्यमहेश्वर जी।

मध्यमहेश्वर भगवान शिव के पंचकेदार मंदिरों में से एक है। पंचकेदारों में भगवान शिव के विभिन्न अंगों की पूजा की जाती है।
 शिवपुराण के अनुसार महाभारत युद्ध के पश्चात पांडवों को गुरु हत्या, गोत्र हत्या, अपने भाइयो की हत्या का दुःख सताने लगा।

इसके प्रायश्चित का उपाय जानने के लिए लिए वे श्रीकृष्ण के पास गए, उनके समझाने पर भी जब पांडव प्रायश्चित करने का हठ नहीं छोड़ा तो श्रीकृष्ण ने उनसे वेदव्यास जी के पास जाने को कहा।
वेदव्यास ने उन्हें कैलाश क्षेत्र में जा के भगवान शिव की तपस्या करने को कहा और उन्हें प्रसन्न कर अपने पाप से मुक्ति पाने का मार्ग बताया।
 बहुत समय हिमालय में भ्रमण के दौरान जब एक स्थान पर आकर कुछ दिन वही भगवान शिव की स्तुति करने लगे तब थोड़ा आगे एक विशालकाय बैल पर उनकी नज़र पड़ी।
 माना जाता है स्वयं भगवान शिव उन की परीक्षा लेने हेतु बैल रूप में वहां प्रकट हुए थे, लेकिन गोत्र हत्या के दोषी पांडवो से नाराज़ थे और उन्हें दर्शन नहीं देना चाहते थे। परन्तु पांडवो ने उन्हें पहचान लिया था और उनका पीछा करने लगे। एक समय ऐसा आया की बैल ने अपनी गति बढ़ानी चाही लेकिन भीम दौड़कर बैल के पीछे आने लगे। ये देख भगवान शिव रुपी बैल ने स्वयं को धरती में छुपाना चाहा,
 जैसे ही  बैल का अग्र अर्ध भाग धरती में समाया, वैसे ही भीम ने बैल की पूंछ अपने हाथो से पकड़ ली। यही पीछे का भाग केदारनाथ के रूप में विद्यमान हुआ।
कहा जाता है की बैल का अग्र भाग सुदूर हिमालय क्षेत्र में जमीन से निकला जो की नेपाल में था, जो की प्रसिद्ध पशुपति नाथ नाम से पूजा गया। बैल का शेष भाग यानी भुजाएं तुंगनाथ में, नाभि या मध्य भाग मदमहेश्वर में, मुख रुद्रनाथ में (शेष नेपाल पशुपति नाथ में) तथा जटा कल्पेश्वर में निकली।
इस तरह से पंच केदारों में से द्वितीय केदार भगवान मध्यमहेश्वर हुए।

Madmaheshwar is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, which is located 14km from Ransi village of Rudraprayag district and 09 kilometers above the Gudar village in Garhwal of Uttarakhand in India. Located at an altitude of 3,497 meters (11,473.1 feet), this is the second temple of Panch Kedar Pilgrimage.
This temple built by Pandavas, heroes of Mahabharata, the Hindu temple, it is believed that in this temple, middle part of the bull or navel (navel) is considered as the divine form of Shiva.

हिंदू मंदिर महाभारत के नायकों पांडवों द्वारा निर्मित इस मंदिर में माना जाता है कि इस मंदिर में बैल के मध्य या पेट के हिस्से या नाभि (नाभि) को शिव का दिव्य रूप माना जाता है।
